I work in a public school system in VA and our district does recognize the CCC and I receive a 2500/yearly stipend for having them. I'm not sure how the stipend was obtained b/c when I was hired, it was already in place. The ASHA website has a lot of info about various districts strategies/methods used to obtain $$$ for the CCC.
