I've been an SLP in the public schools for 6 years and this is still an area that brings about a great deal of frustration especially when changes need to be made. This year I decided to purchase a subscription to Caselite Scheduler. It was created 5 years ago by a school SLP and her husband who is a software engineer. It cost about $159 for the yearly subscription but for me it has been worth every penny. I have 2 schools this year and it has made scheduling a breeze. With this web-based program, you are able to set your schedule with any constraints you'd like. Check out their site. It's www.caselitesoftware.com. My district is thinking about purchasing a subscription for all the SLPs to use next school year.
