I hear you. Between paying for ASHA and all the other liscening I have to keep current it adds up quickly. The one advantage to maintaining my ASHA C's is our school district gives us a stipend each year. So it helps to cover the cost plus more. It took time to get this accepted but it is now part of our union contract.
