I have a child I work with who is 3 and has a diagnosis of Autism. He is still eating from the bottle- milk, pureed food, etc. He is very resistant to putting anything in his mouth, especially the spoon. We have been working on desensitizing the oral area with finger plays, vibrators, etc, but I have not bee able to get inside of his mouth without a LOT of resistance. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to move along his Tx. Our ultimate goal is to get him to tolerate spoon feeding and cup drinking. Thanks
