Thanks for the advice. WE did go to the union and they pushed hard to have us be with the national teachers certification during negotiations and we tried all the comparison charts possible. WE still got denied receiving the stipend. Our superintendent basically does not see it as the same/equivalent and does not want to acknowledge 3 slp's that have the highest level of certification we can receive. It is very sad. Until our state recognizes it, then our school and board will not. It appears to be a lost cause....
