Apply all over and really consider moving if you need to. There are some WONDERFUL programs that are not advertised at smaller, less known schools that are fabulous. It seems everyone wants to go to certain state or university schools. I applied to a small state school in northern Wisconsin and had to move, but it was the best decision I made. They wanted out of state applicants and it was a great program!! I have been working as an SLP for 6 years now and love it.
