I work in the junior high level. I do a lot of social/language groups working on problem solving, conversation skills, discussing the hidden curriculum of a school setting. We also work on social skills. In addtion, I have gotten our district to allow us to be in charge of the pop machine-filling it, ordering, deciding types, etc. This has been a real life skill. I would try to do games and real life activities that high school students might experience. good luck.
