National Boards VS. CCC's

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to see if anyone is trying to get their school board/contract to recognize theirs CCC's as important as the national boards that teachers receive. Our district is giving a stipend yearly to any teacher that has this certification. They are not recognizing our CCC's as being something to recognize or something as equivalent even though it is a national recognition and not mandated to have by our schools. Does anyone have any info or ideas on how to go about doing this. Does anyone know of districts that are recognizing their CCC's? IF so, please share. Thanks.
