I always do a Bring a Friend to Speech day to promote Better Speech and Hearing Month. Each student gets to pick a freind to bring to speech for a day and we play a fun game that they all really like. The teachers and the kids always love it and some of them wait eagerly for the next year. The ones that get picked to come are very excited too which makes it a positive experience for the speech student. One year I did free hearing checks for any teacher that was interested too. They lined up around the corner for that one. If I did that again, I might schedule some available times for them to choose from. Hope this helps!
