I had a sticker chart on a piece of posterboard that was ready for my kids to put their stickers on. The first day I started to use it and I realized I left the sticker box at home. I told the kids they had a choice to color in their boxes or wait for the sticker. They loved the idea of coloring it in themselves and haven't wanted stickers since! I keep a box of crayons by the chart and we review the 3 rules that they have to follow in the speech room to get their boxes. They get to color and I get to finish up charting whatever data I've gotten that session. they also love to compare where they are compared to where my other students.
