Unfortunately I'm in your shoes. My district requires professional development and offers it in house but it's always "generic" special ed topics. There's never anything specific to SLPs. So in order to keep my ASHA and state licensure current, I have to pay for and use personal days to do my own. It's so frustrating. There is a lot available online now so that has helped some.
