I've found that using the curriculum really helps with generalization and it's already homework assigned by the classroom teacher! I use the week's spelling words, science vocabulary, math language, etc...anything with their targeted sound(s). This way, during my sessions, they are getting extra exposure to curriculum which makes teachers, administrators, and parents very happy. Also, they will be reminded of their sounds when doing their homework - that it doesn't just have to be in "speech" that they hear these sounds. I do give homework copied from Webber, etc. but I do my best to make it curriculum-related. Good luck!
