My students have folders that are used by the regular classroom teachers for homework and other important papers. Speech homework is placed in this folder by the student. This eliminates the need for an additional folder. I only send home practice activities that have already been done during treatment sessions. Students are given extra stamps/stickers for home practice that is returned and signed. These sticker sheets are kept in a speech folder that does not leave the speech therapy room. My students ask for homework so that they can get the extra stickers. Once they fill up a row of stickers, they get a neat prize.
