On a stay within search, once it is done, transfer the threads to downloads. 2)Bandwidth Precentage: It would be nice to be able to limit the amount of bandwidth used on our end. If we're on a 56k modem, set it to use only 50%, or in this case, 28Kbs. This would allow us to continue surfing or listen to streaming media, etc. 3)Start From Scratch: A "Pages on Starting Sever (V 1.1)" Feature. It would be nice to have a option to generate the first 20 or 30 urls. This would come in handy if we were unable to remember the address of a paticular site. I created a program that did this, and if it wasn't for the checking each page, it would have ran fairly decently. Combine that with medusa, there is no real limit to what medusa can find. 4)Plugins: A few posts down, someone made the comment of being able to rearrange the pages in que. Well, if there was a plugin feature, we could create our own way of controlling which pages come first. Medusa sends the plugin the url, and the plugin could look at it decide if it has priority and send the url back, or send a previously sent url back, while storing the new url for it's use. This could also prove useful creating a way to save searches. Well, each of the ideas are possible. The only problems I see would be with 3 and 4 (Possible 1). In 3, Th questions is risen about what if medusa reaches what is supposed to be a hidden area. In 4, it raises the question of what could other people create with medusa? For Example, if I created a url generator plugin for medusa, I could set it to start generating the urls, then send medusa the generated urls and drop the found ones, etc. This combine with the thread priority, the speed to detect pages, and the speed I had in generating urls, I could make medusa do the hard part for me. For such a thing, it would probably be best to only allow registered plugins on the medusa page. Even with this, I would love the chance to enhance medusa even more in my own ways. If I wanted to save the search, or something similar, I could have it done pretty well...On this thought, if you do implament a saving feature, you may want to look into a database for saving the info. Anyways, good luck. Peace.
