Posted by Phoenix As a compromise, I would suggest the ability to control the max/min usage of the program, not much unlike that of a P2P client. In addition to this, have a ratio of options availiable to better fit the program for the environment. For example 50% Usage, 20 Search, 5 Download, 10 Thumbnails. Or 100% Usage 5 Search, 5 Download, 0 THumbnails. I do however, commonly find myself at an iritant at only being able to do 10 threads of each. I would instead suggest a total thread count that can be distributed at will. IE 50 Total, 30 Search, 10 Download, 10 Thumbnail. Given I've no knowledge of why there was a 10 each limit, I can't say whether or not this is a decent possibility.

I'm going have to disagree in part to this. First off, I understand that some people do have better bandwidth usage stats than others. And it does make sense to be able to allow them full usage of that. However, as most P2P programs have had to face, not everyone will want full usage. For example, I play a MMO. If good ram saving conditions were in place, I would want to run Medusa while playing that game. If full usage was open, then it would bog down my computer and I would be unable to play.
