He tied Jr Garrison's record of 7.5 at Clara City, Mn He traveled with Roy Reger. Somebody could wrote a book about their experiences!!! I think his nick name was Ro ho.
One of the wildest stories, was back in the 70's at Clear Lake, SD. JW and not sure who was with him went to the park about midnight where they had showers. So they undressed and just took in towels with them. A drunk Indian came along and stole his truck. Left them there at the shower with nothing but a towel. The Indian took the truck to a local dirt race track and wrecked it.
