(T.T.E.P.) Morning Soul Food - “What Have You Done With My Blessing”

Morning Christian Words of Encouragement – “Are YOU 100% sure, that you are Saved and headed to Heaven when you die? Are you sure YOUR name IS written in the Heavenly “Book of Life?” Is there absolutely not a shadow of a doubt in your mind, that your Salvation is already secured and you’re just waiting on the good Lord to call you home to be with Him? If the answer is “No, Not Sure, I Think So, Maybe, or Probably, then you need to get busy right now working on fixing that. You need to be totally sure where your Soul will spend eternity!” And AMEN goes right here….

Thought For Today – “What Have You Done With My Blessing?”
Good Morning Peeps! How are you doing this morning, good I hope? Have you had a good work week, I sure hope so? Well we are at the end of another week and month as well, and today starts MY birthday month! I plan to celebrate this entire MONTH for my birthday on the 18th!!! LOL! Okay, okay, okay, let me get into this message today. Question, by a show of virtual hands, how many of you remember the message I shared about “Godly Gifts?” Come on, anybody………ANYBODY??? Oh okay, I see a few hands over there, there are a lot of hands up on the other side. And I see a lot of hands in the back and up in the second, third, and fourth levels of the building. Good deal, glad to know you all are paying attention! Okay, well today is going to be a continuation of that message. If you remember, the previous message dealt with the premise that God has blessed each of us with at least ONE gift? Some people might not have figured out what their gift is, and some may have. As I have clearly stated many times, God Blessed me with the gift of creativity and speaking. I also believe He has blessed me with Spiritual eyes of Discernment too. For those of you who don’t understand that word “Discernment,” it is the ability to see and understand things from a Spiritual or Godly perspective. For example, being able to understand Biblical verses, or also being able see a person’s true intentions, and motives. As I look back over my life, 100% of the time my gut feeling about a person was spot on, there were just times I chose to ignore it. My mom used to tell me, that there were times when she would be in the presence of someone and her “Spirit” just would not keep quite as if it was trying to warn her that the person meant her no good! Now in getting back to my message, it is with this train of thought, or line of thinking, that it was placed on my heart today to talk about “What Have You Done With My Blessing?” And AMEN goes right here! Now let me see if I can make you understand it so that you can be Blessed by this message abundantly.
In the previous message about the gift(s) that God has Blessed each of us with from birth, yes you have had this gift from the very beginning. (read Jeremiah 1:5) – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” That right there is a verse that doesn’t just apply to God’s prophets. The part I wanted you to focus on was the part of “Before I formed you in the womb, I KNEW YOU.” As the old saying goes, “God knew you (meaning he PRE destined your life/gift(s) before you were even born) before you were even a twinkle in your parents eyes.” Okay, so let’s work with the premise that you have a gift of some sort, you can sing, are an artist, can play the piano really well, you can run really fast, or jump really high, or you are an overly caring, helping type of person and became a nurse. In my humble opinion, Nurses and Teachers are the most underrated, underappreciated, and under paid people in America. Yes, I know there are SOME nurses who do pretty well, but it still AIN’T enough for the job that they do, and the impact they have on the lives of the human race when they are at the most vulnerable state in their lives, adolescence age for Teachers, and the state of sickness for Nurses. I have been complimented many times for my coaching ability due to my high level of patience exhibited with the kids that I have coached. I still say it is NOTHING compared to a Teacher or Nurse. So you have discovered what your “gift(s)” is/are, my next question posed to my virtual audience is, “WHAT ARE YOU, OR WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH YOUR GIFT?” Are you, or have you, used it for selfish benefit, OR are you using it to Glorify God which is what the intention of why God Blessed you with it in the first place? And AMEN goes right there too!
If you would, turn in your Bibles to the Book of Luke 19: 11-27 verse. As usual, it is too long to include in this email, so I will have to paraphrase it for you for the sake of time and space. If you don’t know these verses offhand, it is the parable of the “Ten Minas.” In this parable, a nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom. He gave 10 minas to 10 of his servants and asked them to occupy it for him. A Mina was a good sum of money, in those days about 3 months wages. To make a long story short, when the nobleman returned after receiving his kingdom, to see how much the servants had gained by trading, or to “multiply” the money he gave them, he found that one had done nothing but hold on to it. The others had used it to make multiply more money. The first one said and said “Lord, they pound hath gained ten pounds.” The nobleman said to him, “Because thou has faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. The second had gained 5 pounds, and he was awarded 5 cities to be in authority over. But one of them came to him and said, “here is thy pound, which I kept up in a napkin. For I feared thee, because thou are an austere man: thou takest up that thought layedst not down, and reapest that though didst not sow.” The nobleman responded to this servant with, “Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down and reaping that I did not sow.” Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.” Now remember, this is JESUS CHRIST telling this parable! And the meaning behind it is, when God Blesses you with a gift, He is at some point in time going to come back and check on it to see what you have done with it! I am doing my best to use MY gift(s) to Glorify God and the Kingdom of Heaven. I may fall way short in some areas, but I am at the very least making a concerted effort to do it. Your gift needs to be used to Glorify God first and foremost, and then God will continue to Bless you through that gift with the things of your hearts desires. Can I leave o with a question to ponder today if I may?
“Are YOU Using Your God Given Gift To Glorify Him In Some Way?” Can I get an AMEN????
“Today, choose to “Ride or Die” with Jesus Christ! Afterall, isn’t that exactly what He did for us on the Cross???”
