The Third Eye Perspective :
Morning Christian Words of Encouragement – “Are YOU 100% sure, that you are Saved and headed to Heaven when you die? Are you sure YOUR name IS written in the Heavenly “Book of Life?” Is there absolutely not a shadow of a doubt in your mind, that your Salvation is already secured and you’re just waiting on the good Lord to call you home to be with Him? If the answer is “No, Not Sure, I Think So, Maybe, or Probably, then you need to get busy right now working on fixing that. You need to be totally sure where your Soul will spend eternity!” And AMEN goes right here….

Thought For Today – “What Are YOU Thankful For?”
Good Morning Saints! How are you doing this morning, good I hope? How is your short work week going so far, good I hope? If all goes well and according to plan, today will be my Friday! I would like to take an extra day off to spend with my son Dawson, my little brother Shawn, and my deer stand LOL! I am very glad that I got so spend some time with my little brother last night when he came to my house to watch Monday night Football game. Which brings me to my subject for today, in dealing with things that we are thankful for. Believe it or not, some people are not thankful for anything! They can’t seem to appreciate anything positive that might be happening in their lives because they are too “Conflicted” to notice. Believe it or not, my subject title this morning was going to be “Conflicted,” and I was going to deliver a message about the conflicts that we face, how to deal with them, especially the inner conflicts. I have been wanting to do that one for a few days now, but it seems like God is telling me, “Not yet, not yet, not yet, I have a different message I want you to share.” And I am going to obey Him and deliver it when He gives me the okay to! So with that being said, it was placed on my heart this morning to talk about, “What Are YOU Thankful For?” And AMEN goes right here! Now at first glance or thought, I’m sure it is pretty easy for most if not all people to find SOMETHING they are “Thankful” for nomatter what their current situation is? You would think that would be the case, but believe it or not, that isn’t always so. I have encountered people in my life who doesn’t appear to appreciate or be thankful for anything! So let me try and tell you about just a few things that “I” am “Thankful” for….
If we were to go to Google and type in, “define the word Thankful, we would get the following response : “Pleased and relieved. Expressing gratitude and relief.” Now that we have defined what it means to be “Thankful,” let me share with you what Carlos C. Brown aka “DoubleTuff” is Thankful for…….first and foremost, I am thankful that the good Lawd allowed me to see another beautiful day on this earth that I’ve never seen before! People take waking up and getting to see another day for granted. The Bible tells us that “Do not boast about tomorrow, for tomorrow is not promised to anyone.” There are different verses about this if you want to go and read them (Proverbs 27, James 4:13-14 just to name a couple). Next, I am thankful for being in good health and my right mind, something that people also take for granted everyday. If you look around you, I’m sure you can find many examples of people who are not in good health and when that is the case, you often more times than not find that they aren’t in a good place mentally. I know when I’m not feeling well, or suffering from sometype of pain or temporary illness, it is very hard to try and stay positive mentally. Next, I am thankful for my family and all my true ride or die friends who stick with me and by me thru thick and thin that are like family to me! Old sayings proclaim that you will only have one or two true good or best friends in your lifetime. I am not sure if I believe that or not, because I have a handful that if I called them in the middle of the night, they would be there and in a heartbeat! I am especially thankful for my son Dawson. For being the greatest gift to me by just being himself. And for portraying all the great qualities naturally, that I could ever only hope to possess. And for unknowingly motivating me to be the best father I can be, just because of how good of a young man he is today! I am truly BLESSED to have a son that I can look at in total awe that I had a hand in creating such a true Blessing!
Next, as I mentioned above, I am so very thankful for the good friends God has surrounded me with! You know who you are, and there is no need for me to name you. Just know, that I thank God everyday for each and everyone of you! Next, I am thankful for my family, whom thru thick and thin we remain close. We may passionately disagree (another way of saying “fight like cats and dogs” LOL) but we always make up and come right back to being close! Despite not having any parents nor grandparents alive, I am still thankful for the family members I do have still alive. The holidays are always hard now for me and my siblings especially, since mom passed. But also my grandparents having passed on and gained their Heavenly wings. It just doesn’t seem the same without them being here. They all were so big on the holidays, and would look forward to the whole family coming together. Next, I am thankful for having a new roof over Dawson and my head that God Blessed me with, good food on our table to eat, good fitting clothes on our backs, and a very dependable vehicle to drive everyday. Next, I am very thankful for the great job I was Blessed with. Working for a great company and even greater people! And last but now least, I am VERY thankful for my ministry! I will say it again, I don’t know why God chose me to share these messages with you each morning, but I accept that responsibility and feel very honored to do it. The many, many testimonies that people share with me on how my messages bless them , inspire them, and more importantly encourage them, I can only give God ALL the Glory on those accomplishments! It never ceases to amaze me how a message I hurriedly typed and shared, most of the time without even proof reading for errors, can be so powerful to so many all over the world. I was totally caught off guard to learn that my “Third Eye Perspective Christian Thoughts” page has likes from people in Australia, China, England, and other places around the world! I shouldn’t however be surprised at the impact of the messages, the Bible teaches us that “God’s Holy Word NEVER comes back void.” Now if you understand that, you know that it means that I’m NOT tooting MY horn, because “I” only typed the words. The one who gets and deserves ALL the credit is or Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for placing them on my heart each morning! I will NEVER try and take credit for something that I did not do! Today, I challenge you to take a few minutes to stop and think about all the things you should or are “Thankful” for! Can I leave you with a question to ponder today if I may?
“What Are YOU Thankful For?” Can I get an AMEN from all the Thankful folks???
“Today, choose to “Ride or Die” with Jesus Christ! Afterall, isn’t that exactly what He did for us on the Cross?”
