The Third Eye Perspective:

Thought For Today – “God Will Take You Left, To Get You Back Right!”
Good Morning Saints! How are you doing this morning, good I hope? This morning I was listing to online pastor Jentezen Franklin. He was preaching about the above subject. The more I watched and listened to his sermon, the more it started speaking to me. It is with this line of thinking, that it was placed on my heart this morning to talk about “God Will Take U LEFT To Get You Back RIGHT!” And AMEN goes right here! As I listened to his sermon intently, his basis or example of how God can take you all the way out in LEFT field, to get you back “RIGHT” in the mind, heart, and Soul, was when Moses led the Israelites out into the wilderness for forty years, on their way to the Promised Land. What some people may not know, was that Moses was being groomed to be the next Pharaoh. He was living in the Palace, he was being educated, wore the finest clothes, he also had servants, important friends in high places, he was very popular among the people, I mean the whole nine yards! However, Moses made one very critical mistake, he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew one day, and he intervened, killing the Egyptian. When Pharaoh caught wind of this, his reaction was that Moses must be killed. Moses fled Egypt, ending up in the wilderness on the backside of the desert for forty years. He met a girl out there named Zipporah, and they had a son named Gershom.
Now I’m sure that each and every one of us can think of a point your life’s distant, or maybe even not so distant past, where you made a rash decision, that caused you to wind up going in a hard “LEFT” direction, am I right? I know I have, and on more than one occasion too LOL! What you might not realize, is that sometimes the greatest thing that can happen to you, is for God to take us to the “LEFT!” You see, when God takes us on a Hard “LEFT” journey to the desert figuratively speaking, He breaks us down and removes all the things that we thought was “RIGHT” with and or IN us, but wasn’t good for us. The Israelites are a very good example of this, they were God’s chosen people which you can’t get anymore important than that can you? However, they were also like the character in the movie “Life” with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, “Can’t Get Right.” All they had to do was stay in good Fellowship with God, abide by his Holy Covenant aka The Ten Commandments, and God would have prospered and blessed them more than they could ever imagine! But like a lot of us, that was just WAY too hard to do wasn’t it? As simple as it sounds, it wasn’t simple at all in the minds of the Israelites, because they would get caught up in looking around at what everyone else was doing. Remind you of anyone you know, maybe yourself? It is very easy for Christians to get sidetracked looking at all the fun the worldly, unsaved, or hypocritical Christians are doing and want to follow suit. Peer pressure is a very real thing in our society, and has always been a huge stumbling block for people trying to live a good clean Christian life. Ironically, falling victim to that same peer pressure will result in us experiencing frequent “Hard Left” journey’s! And AMEN goes right here!
Here are a few other notable Biblical people who found themselves on a “Hard Left” journey that are very worth mentioning. The first that comes to mind, is Adam AND Eve LOL, who by disobeying God’s warning not to eat of the forbidden fruit tree, made life harder not only on them, but on every generation to follow after them! The next one that comes to mind, is Cain who killed his brother Abel out of jealousy of the favor God showed Abel, after the sacrifice offering from his first harvest of his firstlings, aka the pick of his crop. Cain just gave God some of his harvest, but unlike Abel, it wasn’t the best of it that he presented to God. When Cain slew Abel, it sent him on a “Hard Left” journey of fear and solitude out of fear that people who loved or were good friends with Abel would retaliate against him! The next one that comes to mind, would be the Prodigals son. Who embarked on a journey to see the world after receiving his inheritance early from his father, and then squandered it to the point of being broke, hungry and destitute! He learned a lot about life alright, but more importantly, once God brought him back to the “RIGHT,” he learned that his father both Earthly and Heavenly one, still loved him unconditionally! The next one that comes to mind would be Paul, formerly known as Saul before his conversion to Christianity. Saul was known as murderer of Christians, and that he was very good at it too! He was on that “Hard Left” journey in his life when he had an encounter with Jesus Christ! That changed the whole game! You see, as I have said so many times, “You can’t have a true encounter with Jesus Christ, and walk away the same! You will experience a change in heart, mind, and spirit too if you really did encounter Jesus!” Jesus changed Saul’s name to Paul, and Paul became a crusader for Christianity, and went just as hard to protect them, as he was devoted to killing them in his previous life! When you find yourself on a “Hard LEFT” journey, you will need to place all of your trust and Faith in God because there are things that you need to see and learn during that time or you wouldn’t be on it. Embrace the journey, learn the lessons that God wants you to learn, most importantly, make the necessary changes in your life for the better to leave there and be put on a “RIGHT” path. Can I leave you with a question to ponder today if I may?
“Is God Taking U On A “HARD LEFT” Journey Right Now?”
Can I Get An AMEN???
“Today, choose to “Ride or Die” with Jesus Christ! Afterall, isn’t that exactly what HE did for us on the Cross?”
