The Third Eye Perspective:

Thought For Today – “In The Negative…”
Question for my audience, have you ever thought you had an adequate amount of money in your checking or savings account, but due to an oversight, or unforeseen debit, bill or purchase that you didn’t immediately make a note of in your check register on your account, caused you to be in the negative? Unless you were born rich with overflowing money overflowing in your account(s), that answer would be an overwhelming YES! That is about as worse of a feeling a person could have, thinking they had money in the bank only to quickly realize they don’t and even worse, are in the negative, YIKES!!! LOL! For most people, this predicament would cause them to panic due to worrying that checks they’ve written might not clear their account, or maybe some automatic bank drafts that they had set up in place for a certain bill came out, which will result in them being charged non-sufficient fund charges as well. And eventhough it was an honest oversight on your part, the businesses or individuals you wrote the check to or charged services for if you used a debit card, or set that bank draft up with might not be so understanding, as this might also cause them to have to pay fees and charges with their accounts. Anyway you look at it, being in the negative is never a good thing, especially if you have to stay there for any amount of time. With this train of thought, or line of thinking, that it was placed on my heart this morning to talk about, “In The Negative…” And AMEN goes right here! Now I’m sure that most if not all of you reading this knows what the definition is of the word “Negative” is am I right? Well just for the sake of not trying to take anything for granted, I’ll go ahead and define it anyway: The dictionary definition of that word “Negative” is as follows: “Consisting in or characterized by the absence rather than the presence of distinguishing features. A word or statement that expresses denial, disagreement, or refusal. To render ineffective or to neutralize.” Now I bet none of you saw those coming as definitions of that word did you? Now, in the context that “I” am going to use the word “Negative,” it will be to illustrate a serious lack of being “In The Negative” Spiritually.
As I try to relate the Biblical and even present day to this subject, there are a few examples of people in the Bible finding themselves “overdrawn” and being “in the negative” figuratively speaking, until they had a chance encounter with either Jesus Christ or God. Let’s start with Cain, he had recently killed his brother Abel out of jealousy, committing what is thought to be the very first murder in the history of the Biblical days (Genesis 4th chapter). I have to think that would be a very good example of being “in the negative,” because who would want that label following them around for the rest of their lives? Like Cain, I could see where a person would be worried sick that someone, maybe someone who was close to Cain might retaliate and kill him. It wasn’t until God reassured him by placing His mark upon him, to warn that anyone that touched him would suffer severe consequences, that Cain actually came “out of the negative.” The next example, I would have to think would be the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years (read Luke 8:43-48), the Blind man (read John 9:1-40), the 10 Lepers (read Luke 17:11-19), the crippled man (read Matthew 9:2), and when Jesus brought Lazarus back to life (read John 11: 38-44), all would fall into that category of being “in the negative” before they had a chance encounter with Jesus Christ. One thing for sure, once you have a true encounter with Jesus Christ, there is absolutely NO WAY you can’t walk away the same as you were! When your Faith is deeply rooted in the Lord like that of a mustard seed, you already know that a “Divine Deposit” will be posting to your Spiritual account sooner or later if you just hold on, and just in the nick of time. Another good example, would be when the Disciples’ Faith level was definitely “in the negative,” when they were on the ship with Jesus and the storm rolled up out of nowhere, tossing and battering the boat by the waves of the sea. That had to have created a very scary and hostile environment for the Disciples. They were thinking I’m sure, that they were about to really be “in the negative” and they decided that they needed to talk to their banker, Jesus Christ right then! And what happened when they went in and woke Him up to explain their “in the negative” situation to Him? He made a deposit into their “Faith Accounts” with just three words being spoken, “Peace be still!” And just like that, the 12 Disciples “Spiritual accounts” were replenished. And AMEN goes right here too!
The Christian Faith as a whole is “in the negative” right now. We have overdrawn the Christian Faith out of our children’s schools. We have withdrawn the Christian Faith out of most of the Federal Government buildings, which ironically is where our forefathers placed it as a way of watching over our great country when they first created the legal system! The majority of our families in the world are in the negative “Spiritually” too. Not all of them, but a lot of them are. They have been withdrawing time and time again for God’s help to deliver them from all kinds of predicaments, but never making any deposits of Worshipping Him, Praising Him, Obeying Him, of Faith, Tithing, Abiding by His 10 Commandments, etc… without any thought of it ever going dry, which is exactly what is happening right now. This constant withdrawing without making any deposits will eventually bankrupt the state of the Christian Religion if there isn’t any changes in our current belief system. This will result in God stepping in and taking complete control of our world as we know it. That Bible says that the last time this happened, God sent a great flood of epic proportions killing every living creature that walked on land, outside of the one’s He spared via Noah and the great Ark. Oh and just an FYI, the next time He decides to cleanse this earth, He has promised that it won’t be water, but Fire next time! If you know your “Spiritual” life right now is in the negative, stop putting off seeking a Heavenly deposit to get you back in good standing! Can I leave you with a question to ponder today????
“Are you in the negative today and looking a “Bailout” scenario?” Can I get an Amen?”
“Today choose to “Ride or Die” with Jesus Christ! Afterall, isn’t that exactly what He did for us on the Cross?”
