: Great message this morning,

: Morning Christian Words of Encouragement –
: “Are YOU 100% sure, that you are Saved and
: headed to Heaven when you die? Are you sure
: YOUR name IS written in the Heavenly “Book
: of Life?” Is there absolutely not a shadow
: of a doubt in your mind, that your Salvation
: is already secured and you’re just waiting
: on the good Lord to call you home to be with
: Him? If the answer is “No, Not Sure, I Think
: So, Maybe, or Probably, then you need to get
: busy right now working on fixing that. You
: need to be totally sure where your Soul will
: spend eternity!” And AMEN goes right here….

: Thought For Today – “Fat Cows Vs Skinny
: Cows”
:
: Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning
: Peeps! How are you doing this morning, good
: I hope? Are you having a good/great work
: week so far, I sure hope so? Well, we are at
: the pinnacle of the work week, so it should
: be all downhill from here right? Anyways, I
: was listening to a sermon this morning from
: Jentezen Franklin, and he was speaking on
: the subject of “Don’t Let The Bad, Destroy
: Your Good.” In his sermon, he talked about
: how we tend to focus way too much on the bad
: things that happen to us as opposed to the
: good. He also stated, that people allow a
: little bit of bad, to corrupt, place a dark
: shadow on or even destroy all the good that
: has happened in our lives. One thing he said
: stuck out to me, “some people don’t
: recognize the blessing and even answer to
: their prayers, because it didn’t or wasn’t
: wrapped in the outer wrapping that they
: thought it would be or expected it to be.”
: It is with this train of thought, or line of
: thinking, that it was placed on my heart
: this morning to talk about “Fat Cows vs
: Skinny Cows.” Now THAT will have to preach,
: because I know some people (especially
: women) are looking at me a little sideways
: “like a mule about to kick,” as my
: grandfather would say LOL! And AMEN goes
: right there! Easy, easy, easy now women, I
: know that the reference in the phrase above
: his been used by some to describe you, but
: “I” am NOT using it in that sense. So
: PLEASE, put your weapons away! LOL! Whew
: what was close!
:
: Okay, now where I’m about to go with this,
: some of you who read your Bibles regularly,
: or are scholars of the Bible might already
: know where I’m going with it. Now when you
: talk about fat cows vs skinny cows, those of
: you who grew up on a farm, you know that
: every farmer or rancher prefers to have cows
: that are fat and healthy right? It is a sign
: that you are doing your job to produce good
: quality beef for the supermarkets and
: eventually the consumer. On the otherhand,
: “skinny” cows signify malnutrition, health
: issues, and a lack of good green grass and
: or grain right? One thing I always admired
: about my late Grandfather Lee Andrew Brown
: aka “Bo,” as he was known by all of his
: friends, is that he took such great pride in
: taking care of, and overseeing his cattle
: Santa Gertruda operation. Without ever
: writing anything down, he could tell you
: everything about each heifer in his herd, as
: well as the bulls that he had used over the
: years. Some of the most powerful men in our
: area would brag on how pretty and healthy my
: grandfather’s herd was. I remember former
: local Senator Stanley Russ would pride
: himself to mainly buy his young heifers to
: restock his herd of cows from my
: grandfather. That said a lot about how good
: of stock my Grandfather kept on the Circle B
: Ranch. Now, let me get back into my message
: for today. If you know the story about
: Pharaoh when he was having a recurring dream
: about “Skinny Cows eating Fat Cows,” he was
: bothered by this dream because he couldn’t
: understand what it meant.(Read Genesis
: chapter 41).
:
: There just happened to be a person under
: Pharaoh’s rule, who was blessed with the
: gift of dream interpretation. That person’s
: name was Joseph, you should remember him? He
: was the person in the Bible who was thrown
: into a pit by his brothers after revealing
: to them a dream he had, then taken as a
: slave by a passing caravan. Then, while in
: slavery, he befriended two guys who went on
: to become servants of Pharaoh. Joseph had
: interpreted dreams for these two men, and
: upon their being freed, they promised they
: would remember Joseph, however when that
: time came, they forgot him. Joseph ended up
: becoming a servant, and his luck seemed to
: be consisting of one bad thing after
: another. He refused the sexual advances of,
: and was falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife
: and he spent 14 years in prison. But Joseph
: was a man who despite all that had happened
: to him, he never took his eyes off of
: worshipping God. His faithfulness of
: continuing to serve God despite all the bad
: things he experienced in his life, propelled
: him from slavery, prison, all the way up to
: the second highest position in Egypt. You
: see, once Pharaoh learned that Joseph could
: interpret dreams, he sent for him. And when
: Joseph told Pharaoh that his dream meant
: that Egypt would suffer 7 years of famine
: (Skinny Cows) and that he needed to prepare
: for the “Skinny Cow” days, and store up
: reserves during the good days/years (Fat
: Cows). Now to break this down to where you
: can understand it, as it relates to your
: current life and or situations. God doesn’t
: promise us that we are always going to
: experience just good days (Fat Cows), No He
: was pretty clear on that one after the fall
: in The Garden of Eden by Adam and Eve. It is
: because of that fall, that God said that we
: will have to experience some bad days
: (Skinny Cows), some heartaches, some pains,
: some bad health days, some death days, and
: some “nothing seems to be going right in my
: life days.” However, the message that God
: wants me to relay to you today, is that your
: attitude towards both the “Fat Cow” as well
: as the “Skinny Cow” days will dictate just
: how severe your times spent in each will be!
: Stop giving the “Skinny Cow” days so much of
: your attention, dwelling on them, constantly
: complaining about them to anyone who will
: listen, and keeping them fresh in your mind
: as a result. The Bible says, that we have
: the ability (God given) to speak LIFE or
: DEATH into every situation in our lives!
: (Proverbs 18:21 KJV). Stop speaking death
: into your life and choose to speak LIFE! Can
: I get an AMEN on that? Well even if you
: won’t give me one, AND AMEN GOES RIGHT HERE!
: Can I leave you with a question to ponder
: today if I may?????
:
: “Are You Speaking “Skinny Cow – Death and
: Famine” or “Fat Cow – Good Health and
: Prosperity” Into Your Life?”
:
: Let the “Fat Cow” Folks Say AMEN?????
:
: “Today, choose to “Ride or Die” with Jesus
: Christ! Afterall, isn’t that exactly what He
: did for us on the Cross?”
