Morning Christian Words of Encouragement – “Are YOU 100% sure, that you are Saved and headed to Heaven when you die? Are you sure YOUR name IS written in the Heavenly “Book of Life?” Is there absolutely not a shadow of a doubt in your mind, that your Salvation is already secured and you’re just waiting on the good Lord to call you home to be with Him? If the answer is “No, Not Sure, I Think So, Maybe, or Probably, then you need to get busy right now working on fixing that. You need to be totally sure where your Soul will spend eternity!” And AMEN goes right here….

Thought For Today – “Your Daily Habits Show Where Your Life Is Headed.”
Good morning Peeps! How are you this morning, good I hope? Are you having a great work week so far, I sure hope so? By a show of virtual hands, how many of you reading this will admit that you have some very bad habits? Come on now, don’t be shy! It’s not like anyone can really see you besides you and God being that it is being done virtually. So let me ask that question again, and this time, make sure you answer it honestly, “How many of you reading this right now, will admit that you have at least one bad habit? Going once, going twice, going three times? Okay, well just for the record, I had BOTH hands up in response to that question! Here is another quote I want to say is very relevant to this topic, “The Pressure You Put On Your Goals Determines Your Outcome or Breakthrough.” It is with this train of thought, or line of thinking, that it was placed on my heart this morning to talk about, “Your Daily Habits Show Where Your Life Is Headed.” Now I know THAT will Preach right there! And AMEN goes right here! When you start talking about “Habits,” especially the day to day habits, they have the power to shape or form anyone’s life for the good or bad. Success is overcoming one challenge at a time. You will win if you don’t quit, however, if your first response to any adversity is to quit, you will always be known as a quitter. The first thing most people who need deliverance from something, need deliverance from quitting everything when it gets hard.
In diving in a little deeper into our daily habits, each and everyone of us, could sit down and write a long list of both good and also bad habits that we have a on a daily basis, am I right? How about this, if your first morning action or exercise isn’t spending time with the Lord, then it is going to be very hard to have a good and successful day. Those people who do, knows that it is very important to do that every single morning when they open their eyes. You can’t be ignorant of God’s Holy Word and a s have a strong relationship with Him and walk in a successfully. Here are a few daily habits that will hinder your spiritual growth, like I said earlier, waking up each morning and not spending time with God. #2. Not spending any time at all reading your Bible. #3. Having a positive attitude nomatter how gloomy your situation looks. #4. Give up on your dreams, your relationships, marriages, friends, etc…#5. Your first reaction to any adversity that comes your way is to throw your hands up and quit, or tuck tail and run. The children of Israel had a bad habit of everytime God bailed them out of something they would find a way to find themselves right back in His doghouse. I know that I’ve found myself in God’s doghouse a many of times over my life. Sometimes I didn’t know why, will yet other’s I knew exactly what I had done to get out of good fellowship with Him. Another true fact about “habits,” is that not everyone is fighting the same battles. Some people might be fighting one battle, while a very group of other will be fighting a totally different one.
Now, we have discussed the bad habits that can and will detach us from having very much if any success in life, and also a strong relationship with God. So now let’s discuss those good “habits” that can and more importantly will result in us being successful. #1. Starting your morning /day off with spending some quality time with God. There is no other way to get your day started off on the right track than to start it off with our Lord and Savior. #2. You make the decision or choice that nomatter what type of day you have, you are going to have a positive attitude about it, remain focused, and push thru it nomatter what. #3. When life, people, or things try to bring you down, you will reflect back on your time spent with God that morning and then try to enter into a peaceful but confident or serene state of mind. This could also be the same as using the God given power we have over Satan to command him to “Get Thee Behind Me Satan” when you feel you are under attack. #4. Have a clear understanding what your priorities are, and delegate a realistic amount of time needed to address those priorities. #5. Make it a point everyday, to be nice to someone for no reason at all other than because it is what Jesus Christ commands us to do, “Love thy neighbor as you love yourself.” #6. Be diligent in working towards those things that you have set as goals for your life. I head Pastor Ron Carpenter say that his definition of Diligence is – “doing a little thing over and over for a long period of time until something BIG happens.” He associated that definition to how a rock’s surface can be altered by running water hitting it over and over. #7. Last but not least, spend some quality time with yourself! Do something that is fun for you. If you don’t know of anything, then find something, a hobby is the official term I guess I’m looking for. If daily habits determine where your life is heading, then make sure the daily habits you engage in, are benefitting you, not holding you back! Can I leave you with a question to ponder today?
“How are YOUR daily habits shaping your life, in a good way or a bad way?”
Can I Get An AMEN????
“Today, choose to “Ride or Die” with Jesus Christ. Afterall, isn’t that what He did for us on Calvary’s Mountain?”
