Morning Christian Words of Encouragement – “Are YOU 100% sure, that you are Saved and headed to Heaven when you die? Are you sure YOUR name IS written in the Heavenly “Book of Life?” Is there absolutely not a shadow of a doubt in your mind, that your Salvation is already secured and you’re just waiting on the good Lord to call you home to be with Him? If the answer is “No, Not Sure, I Think So, Maybe, or Probably, then you need to get busy right now working on fixing that. You need to be totally sure where your Soul will spend eternity!” And AMEN goes right here….

Thought For Today – “When God Instructs You Personally, You Need To Obey Him..."
Good Morning Peeps. How are you doing this morning, good I hope? Did you have a good weekend, I sure hope so? Mine wasn't so good, but I'm not going to focus on that, I'm going to focus on what's in front of me, not what happened in the past. I took some time away from almost everything this past weekend, especially social media. I did some fasting, and just tried to take a long hard look at myself as well. My son Dawson spent some time with me, and I also had a long deep heart to heart talk about some things that he was struggling with. As I was sitting in Church yesterday morning, I felt God speaking to me. He knew I was I was dealing with some things that were beyond my control, and just told me to ''Stop trying to fix things that are falling apart in your life right now, and trust Him. He also told me that there are going to be some things that can't be fixed, and some people who either walk away from me, or fade away into the sunset from my life and circle. Then He said "Let them go, don't chase them. If they want to walk away from you, then that means they don't want to be part of your life anymore and that's okay, not everyone who starts on the journey with you will end the journey with you. It is with this train of thought, or line of thinking, that it was placed on my heart this morning to talk about "When God Instructs You Personally, You Need To Obey Him." Ironically, right after that the Pastor told us to turn to a very familiar passage of scripture.....Luke 5: 1-11th verse. If you know the familiar scripture, it is the story of Simon's failed fishing trip. There were multiple boats and they had gone out fishing, but came home empty. So they were cleaning their nets.
Jesus came up upon Simon's boat, and the Bible says that He Prayed (Jesus) him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when He had left speaking, he said unto Simon, "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. The Bible verses goes on to say in verse 6 "And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink." I'm going to stop there on the Bible verses. Now, explaining this passage of scripture, you have an experienced fisherman (Simon), who has been fishing for a long time. He and his crew had gone out and fished all day and all night without any success. Jesus seeing that hey had not had any luck on their fishing trip, asked them to try dropping their nets "one more time," except for this time, launch out into the deep of the Sea of Galilee. But was referred to in this passage of scripture as the lake of Gennesaret. Now think about this, if Jesus came to you, and asked you to do something that you had already tried and failed, how willing would you be to do it again? But you notice, that Simon said "Master, although we have toiled all the night , and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net." In other words, Lord we've already tried that all night long and came up with nothing. But only because YOU tell me to, I will go and try it again as you instructed me to. Now some people wouldn't do it even if God were to tell them to do it. They would ask a hundred questions, or try to argue and debate with Him that they had already tried that and didn't have any luck whatsoever. The moral to this story, is that you have to take into consideration if God is asking you to do something, it is because He already seen the end result and knows what that end result will be. And not only that, God doesn't play mind games, anything He speaks comes to pass just by speaking it. If we were to obey God's Holy word without questioning it, our lives will be just as blessed as Simon's with the fish.
If you don't know or understand my last statement above, the only way you will hear God speaking to you is thru His Holy Bible. You have to not only read it regularly, but also meditate on what you read, and then ask God for a heart of discernment to understand it. Yes, I know it is very hard live Righteous, trust me I do. But is the way your are living right now working for you? Some of you are not hearning God answer your Prayers, because you are not in good standing, aka "Good Fellowship" with Him. I have spoken about this before as well. Just because you Pray to God doesn't mean He's obligated to answer it. I know that will make some of my readers a little angry. But think about it, if you are living a worldly life, meaning you aren't spending any time with God, you are not going to Church on a regular basis, You are not reading your Bible and trying wholeheartedly to live by His Commandments, and last but most certainly not least, not asking for Forgiveness for your sins, trespasses, and Commandments you have broken, then you are not in good fellowship with God. Don't get mad a me, I'm just the messenger here! And before you wonder or even ask, YES I am guilty of this same offense just like everyone else. There are NO perfect Christians in this world, and God knows this. He also knows if we are putting forth a sincere concerted effort to try to live righteous. You may THINK you are fooling God, but He knows our hearts, so He knows when we are fronting as well as when we are being sincere. If you feel your Prayers aren't being heard and more importantly answered by God, then the problem is YOU not Him. You are probably asking "well what can I do to get back in good fellowship with God?" Well I can guarantee you that sitting around doing the same thing you've been doing isn't going to cut it! First, you will need to go down on your knees and ask for forgiveness for every sin you've ever committed in your lifetime that you never repented for. Sins against God, your fellow man, and anyone in general. The next part to that, is that you make a sincere effort to never do it again. You can't honestly have an encounter with God/Jesus Christ and come away the same as you were before. Again, God knows our hearts so if you think you can fool or trick God, you'll find that the trick is on you! This will get you back in good standing, aka Good Fellowship with God. Then He will answer your Prayers, however, it may not be the answer you prayed for. But He will answer them. Can I leave you with a statement or question to ponder if I may?
"If you can't hear God speaking to you, or He's not answering your Prayers, you need to look within yourself to see if it is due to the foul things you have been guilty of doing."
Can I Get An AMEN????
"Today, choose to "Ride or Die" with Jesus Christ. Afterall, He did it for us didn't He?"
