Morning Christian Words of Encouragement – “Are YOU 100% sure, that you are Saved and headed to Heaven when you die? Are you sure YOUR name IS written in the Heavenly “Book of Life?” Is there absolutely not a shadow of a doubt in your mind, that your Salvation is already secured and you’re just waiting on the good Lord to call you home to be with Him? If the answer is “No, Not Sure, I Think So, Maybe, or Probably, then you need to get busy right now working on fixing that. You need to be totally sure where your Soul will spend eternity!” And AMEN goes right here….

Third Eye Perspective Thought For Today – “A Vicious Cycle”
By Carlos C. Brown
Good Morning Saints! “Happy Humpty Hump Day” to you! How are you doing today, good I hope? And I hope that you are having a great work week so far? I am very happy to be back at work after my 2nd and hopefully last procedure on my back for a looooooooooooong time! I’m still a little sore, but I can already tell that the procedure is helping. Anyways, one of the most intelligent men that mankind seems to still hold up on a very high pedestal, even decades after his death (Albert Einstein 1879-1955), defined insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. The more I watch the news nowadays, which isn’t very often anymore because of how depressing it is, I see that the whole entire world seems to be “stuck in a vicious cycle”. And ironically, it appears to fall under that category of “insanity”. Why is it that people can’t seem to realize that they are stuck in those vicious cycles and stop the madness? It is with the train of thought, or line of thinking, that it was placed on my heart this morning to talk about “A Vicious Cycle”. And AMEN goes right here! I have to admit that even “I” have been guilty of this as well at times. I think a lot of the reason people don’t try breaking their cycles, is either they are totally unaware that they are even caught up in one, are totally freaked out about the thought of “change” not knowing how the change will affect them, or they have just become “comfortable” in the cycle and just feel it is just how things are meant to be for them. If you take the time to stop and look around you and your surroundings, you’ll see evidence of many different types of vicious cycles happening. I will list some from a variety of different types to give you an idea of what I’m talking about.
I guess the first vicious cycle that comes to my mind that I see today, is the total lack of respect for Christianity. It is almost like it was back in the Biblical days when Jesus was walking this earth and nobody wanted to believe He was the Savior and Son of God. Non-believing special interest groups, with large followings and lots of money backing political power influencing our politicians to vote and approve legislation to remove anything associated with Christianity from public buildings, schools, and even our currency too. That is crazy to me, being that our fore father’s felt it was very important in the very beginning of colonization, to put God at the forefront of everything, Currency, Governmental Agencies, Schools, Church’s, Public Buildings, etc. and this once great country prospered into the best and most prestigious country in the world. And now, ironically that all of the “God being at the point of all those entities” being reversed, we have fallen from Grace with the rest of the world. We have lost the respect that we once had by all the other countries, our politicians have become so very corrupted and dirty that you can’t tell which ones are trustworthy from the corrupted and dirty ones, our national debt to China grows more and more each day to astronomical amounts. I think I saw just last night that the current national debt is $24 Trillion dollars. That is A LOT of debt people! It also spoke about what would happen if we hit I think it was $26 Trillion, and it wasn’t good. People have given up on honest ways of making a living, and resorted to just about every type of illegal act you could imagine, and even creating new ones each day. Violent crimes all over the United States are at all-time highs. Public Assistance aka Welfare programs are being deceived by people very capable of working a regular job. The current generation is being raised by teenaged parents who have no clue what the proper way to raise children is, nor how to provide a decent life for them because a lot of them are too busy trying to create the next pro athlete super star to get their future’s financially solidified in the short term. Yet not planning for failure if their child doesn’t make it pro in whatever sport they try grooming them for. I spoke about these in a previous Thought For Today called “Generational Failures”.
Why is it so hard to correct something that appears to be so easy to correct? I mean, if you are student of history, you know that unless you change, you are doomed to repeat it over and over again right? So why not change for the better and break the cycle and not have to face the same chaos, disasters, and problems? For instance, why wouldn’t all Christians make the decision, to take a stand and buck the current trend of trying to take God out of everything He’s been a part of for centuries? And why would Christians remain silent with being proud of our Religion, when it is not only a requirement of God, but that it also pleases Him? It is almost “taboo” to speak about Christianity nowadays, but we are being forced to accept all kinds of things that displeases God? Is it just me, or is something not wrong with this picture? Church Ministers/Preachers/Bishops, Deacons and even the members are losing more and respect nowadays because they have fell into the trap of Me first instead of God first. The power that God has given them has been, and is constantly being abused because the power went to their heads. Church members are trying to dictate themselves or their children to be seen doing things more than the other members or their children like “why can’t my child lead a song”, well maybe because that child hasn’t been to choir practice like the other children, or maybe because your child can’t sang a note in a bucket! Oh my bad, the Bible basically implies that anyone who puts forth the effort to sing praises unto God, will be received as a “joyful noise”. Well I’ve heard some folks try to sing that couldn’t and it was anything BUT “joyful” LOL! Forgive me Lawd, but I’m just trying to get YOUR points across and needed to give some of these “I need examples” folks an example. Ok, too bring this all to a head and wrap it up before it gets even longer than it already is. I know that some if not most of you, are asking yourselves “ok so what’s the solution, what can “I” do to break the “vicious cycle” I’m in??? Well it is very easy if you ask me, first take a full assessment of your current life situation. Write down all the good things and bad things that you see in your life. Then, one by one go thru the bad things list and figure out what got you into that bad situation in the first place. Try to make a concerted effort to make it a point never to do what got you in that bad position ever again. Avoid that action like the plague, as to break the current cycle that keeps you experiencing the bad or negativity. For example, if you have a friend or family member who keeps you caught up in drama every chance they get, AVOID contact with them. If you see them in public, speak to them and go on, don’t spend anymore time with them than you absolutely have to. This is a little bit harder when it is family, but you can still use the same mentality with them. THEN, and this is the hard part……PRAY FOR THEM!! Ask God to change their hearts to remove the hatred in their hearts and replace it with an unconditional Love! We should apply this logic to every aspect of our lives that is caught up in a vicious cycle in an effort to break the cycle. One last example, look at the way we are raising our children. If you are experiencing anytype of bad behavior with them, try to get to the root cause of that behavior. Then and only then will you be able to correct it and stop the cycle. Raise them #1. To not only know about God, but to talk to him frequently and NO they are NOT too young. #2. Develop a good communicating relationship with them if you don’t have one already, that way they will talk to you when they have something bothering them, as opposed to keeping it bottled up until they explode on the outside. #3. Teach them about consequences about their choices! #4. Teach them the importance about resisting the temptation of “peer pressure” and how it causes so many of their fellow youth to go astray. #5. Teach them that Education, not PLAYSTATION, XBOX, GAMEBOY is what their main focuses should be. It’s ok to play those games but teach them to not be so addicted to them. #6. Strongly encourage them to pick realistic future careers that require them to have college degrees and not totally bypass school altogether because they think they are going to make it to the pro’s, the whole “One year in college and done” scenario. Only a handful out of millions actually make it like that. #7. Last but not least, instill family pride in them that when they go out in public (especially grade schools) that they are representing your family’s name and that their actions will either elevate it to and evenmore respectful plateau/status, or degrade it from that respectful plateau to a disrespectful pit. And that it will NOT be acceptable for them to be responsible for the latter one! Can I leave you with a question to ponder???
If you are caught up in a “vicious cycle”, what are YOU doing to break that cycle of chaos????
Can I get an Amen????
“Today, choose to Honor Jesus Christ by “Riding or Dying” with him!”
