Re: Need Helpful Advice On Hoof Maintence???
The two that I fed it to TP for over a two month or three month period of time they were wired up everytime I rode them. But I also have tried feeding them Alfalfa with regular rations of grain and the same thing happened. The happy medium i've found is good grazing grass and bermuda hay and a good sweet feed, in this case Omolene. I am not a fan of sweet feeds, but it seems to be working right now. Ususally during the summertime I feed a pellet like Purina's Strategy and have had good luck with that. But the Total Equine just didn't suit my horses. Not knocking the feed, i'm just saying what I experienced. I also have friends who had the same results with Total Equine who are barrel racers and team ropers. DoubleTuff99 --Previous Message-- : Intersting doubletuff. I am a TE deal and one : the big things about that feed is how it : helps make them less hyper. :
