wow!!! The 8th of March was GREAT!!!
People from all over came to Amsterdams Vrankrijk:
(I just woke up so sorry if I'm forgetting to mention some
people) Nina and Sara, Carolien, Marija, Hilde, Karen,
Manuela, Sanne, Gijs, Maaike, Reinco, Andy and Daniel
were there.
It was really cool to see so many people that I met at Ladyfest
Amsterdam as well.
I was late for the first workshop [selfdefence] and helped out
making sandwiches.
real funto see that zine now and have something to rember
it all by. It's a shame thast many forgot to put their names
down.
Bunnies On Strike Radical Cheerleaders that would have been
even more perfect had it not been so cold and rainy and had
we been able to go outside to perform. We showed some
cheers, made pompons and wrote a new cheer.
didn't feal right to me, but we knew it in advance....
Manuela and I had to wait for a while, but once we got started
we really enjoyed performing. We started of with a piece
together that spoke out on the fact that men were excluded and
that we know that men should be involved on womensday.
then we did a few pieces alone then we did some pieces where
one would be speaking and the other would be acting in the
background.
Ladyfest Amsterdam and she performed her music.
I won't say much since I don't know much about
folky music.
after that there was a girl performing about her eating-
disorder that made Hilde and me feel really sorry for her.
She was obviously wtill in the middle of her disorder and
draged us right in there....
Then Sabrina performed again with her spoken word and
that totally kicked ass!!!
Hilde and I decided to leave then, and Manuela had already
left for OCCII's concert that night.
We walked to that station with Karen and had a really
lazy trainride
