everything they see! LOL! Jay mostly wants a dog(blue tick)and cd's and Amber wants everything she sees in stores-mostly Polly Pocket dolls lately. I admit, I spoil them and they get a lot so there isnt a lot that they need for Christmas. In a way I like it like that...they get what they want through the year and are able to enjoy it rather than get a ton of stuff just one day out of the year and dont hardly know what they get. But, then it is hard to find anything to get when they have so much. Ofcourse they still get a lot from Santa, it just makes it harder. Jay always tries to be considerate to Santa and not ask but for a couple things and then have a few surprises. He says he doesnt want to ask too much of Santa since he has so many other children to buy more. Soooo sweet! He is 10 and still believes in Santa.
YAY!! I say thats because he is homeschooled. You know if he were in public school then someone would already have ruined that for him. My cousin who is now around 12 tried to tell him a few years ago and he wouldnt believe him, thank goodness. He told me just yesterday that it is kinda hard to believe such a thing, but yet, it has to be true, because who could afford all that stuff? Whew, keep on believing Jay! It makes it so much more fun when you truly believe like this!!Amber is 7 and ofcourse totally believes without question. Like I said Jay wants a dog,a blue tick puppy to be exact and it would be a cute thing to get a child for Christmas, but we do not need any more dogs. 4 is enough!!We totally have enough and he just doesnt seem to understand that. Faile has the run of the house and the Chihushuas stay in the kitchen and Maggie (the black lab we rescued from being put to sleep because she became inconvenient to her owners)and that is enough. Jay envisions having his own dog that stays in his room. He just isnt responsible enough yet to be allowed to have his own dog that has a crate in his room. I have to remind him to feed and water his lizzards and he doesnt keep his room as clean as he should. He always gets Amber to clean it for him. I could see it being a big, irritating mess. I would have to remind him constantly to take him outside to see if he has to pee. We got new carpet a couple years ago and we have kept it accident free so far and we just arent ready to go through puppy hood again. PArt of me feels like since Faile is getting old that it may be time to get a boxer puppy so Faile can train him or her....because if something were to happen to her now, we would be boxerless.I dont think I could face a day boxerless. If we did get another dog to keep inside I feel that it would have to be a boxer. And I have sworn I wont get another outside dog again, it jsut isnt fair to have some in and some out-they seem to suffer so in the cold and heat. I havent been without a boxer in 20 years. Dh says let it be and if something happens we will get me a boxer puppy right away and he also thinks its better to have just one at a time to spend time with it and train it how you want it. In a way I agree, because it might also upset Faile. She might would think she was being replaced. Who knows whats the right things to do. We're just going to wait and see. Faile is doing great even though she has to be atleast 9 which we know is ancient for a boxer. Things will work out on their own.
