this some for me. I heard a little more about it on tv the other day. They were saying dogs are allowed at some outdoor bistros, it is up to each individual resteraunt and it is talking about outdoor dining only. I knew it sounded too good to be true. Ah, well. The Chihuahuas will be going with us on the trip and we are sooo excited! We found a lot of pet friendly hotels in Florida so we reserved a suite at a hotel that allows pets. I feel bad that they'll have to be in the room a lot of the time, but then I realize they will get a lot of quality time with us, too....like on the long drive there and they'll sleep with us ofcourse and we'll be there with them throughout the day and ofcourse evry night after trips to the theme parks. Tey are used to being kept in the kitchen most of the time here, so they wont mind being in the hotel room especially since they have each other! Mapquest says it will take us 11 hours to get there. I always thought it was 16 hours--or atleast it will be once we hit all the McD's and bathrooms along the way, LOL! I'd like to bring Faile, but she gets antsy in a car, especially a long ride and you know how boxers get spooked easily. I just think she;ll be more comfortable staying at home, she is going to stay with my mom and they adore each other. In fact, last time she stayed with my mom, she acted like she'd just as soon stay there and my mom would have kept her, too. LOL!
