Many years ago, while in high school, I dated a young lady whose father sold Goliaths and Lloyds. I seem to remember that the Goliath had an unusual gear shifting mechanism. I remember that there was a square, on the dash, with a "joy stick." To shift gears, one moved the "joy stick" into the desired gear, on the square, and used the clutch as one would when shifting gears on other cars. This was over 50 years ago. Can someone tell me if my memory is in tact? Thank you. Mike Kanter
