Dear Sir:
I have had such satisfaction with the Borgward which I purchased from you and drove 4,400 in 2 ˝ months in Europe, that I want to write and tell you of my appreciation of this wonderful car.
It performed perfectly on all types of roads and we found the third gear excellent for mountain driving. Only where there were road repairs in process did we have to shift below third. It has lots of power and plenty of pick-up in high.
As far as riding comfort is concerned, I consider it absolutely the equal of our awkward, oversized, expensive American cars and its roadability, particularly on curves is much better.
During the first 1,000 miles we averaged 29.5 miles to the gallon, even with the engine obviously very stiff.
Very truly yours,
