Posted by SiNNeR on March 3, 2005, 7:32 am in conclusion, every story and poem I have ever written is now gone. every bit of my comic is gone. all my emails are gone. all my bookmarks are gone. and here's something else that sucks. one of the lost emails contains all the login information for my domain name and webspace. information that yes I had backed up, but again, stupidly, it was backed up onto the second partition of the old, and now fried like bacon, drive in conclusion of the conclusion; computers well and truly suck

I got home to work yesterday to the lovely surprise of my computer greeting me with a "please insert a boot device" message. my hard drive somehow fell under the delusion that it was an egg and fried itself. literally. as in the chip has melted. luckily the rest of the computer was fine and I have another hard drive. after spending all day, I have windows now installed on that one
I had two hard drives. an old 30 gig drive and a brand new 200gig drive. the 30 gig drive fried. which sucks because a: the new drive is still under garuntee and b: the old drive is the one that had all the irreplaceable files on it. and while I had backed all those important files up, I had, stupidly without realising, backed them up onto another partition of the SAME DRIVE
