The only thing I can find is from Dixie Gun Works "general info" pages. It say's;
for 2 3/4",,92grns of ffg powder and 1 1/4oz of shot will give ya 1050 fps.
my advise; experiment with the over powder wad thickness to achieve proper load hight to fill the shell. They use an over shot card,,not a crimped shell! Thin cardboard like that from a cereal box held in with a drop or two of candle wax will work.
An old rule is "Less powder-More lead,,shoot's further-kills dead",,meaning you'll get a tighter pattern. The common error is to think more powder will be more affective, when in fact the lead deformates so much from the velocity created that the pattern becomes a doughnut shape!
So, there's a starting point for ya. True front stuffers are using 75-85 grns of powder with 1 1/8oz to 1 1/4oz of shot in the 12ga. In that case achieving proper groups is all about wadding and cards.
