I have been using a Cimarron 1860 Army in target competition for some time. It has been a very reliable pistol. Fit, finish and tolerances have been holding well. This piece handles cap fragments well. I use about 22 grains of Pyrodex P, an Oxyoke revolver wad, a .451 hand cast ball and the CCI #11 caps. The gun turns enough velocity to punch paper at 25 and 50 yards.
