I have a Santa Fe Hawkens in .53 caliber. It is number 183 of one thousand, and is .53 calibre. I shoot a .520 ball molded from a Palmetto Armory mold. and it shoots like a dirty booger. The gun was the trail walk prize for first place at the fourth annual Tall Trees Rendezvous at Cresent City California. To give you an idea of how old the gun is, this year will the the Tall Trees thirtieth annual rendezvous. Tom Ruddock won the gun and it has remained nearly unfired until a couple of weeks ago when I bought it from his brother. TTYL. Hungry Horse.
