YES. Out to 100 yrds easy. Round Ball is no problem. Our ancestors did for a few hundered years. take it from a guy from Minn! The biggest current problem, everybody is selling sabots and in-lines and "max" loads,,, --Previous Message-- : Could a person hunt and take down whitetail : deer in Wisconsin with a .45 Cal Blue ridge : percussion rifle? Would it be better to hunt : with round ball or sabot? :
