I use plain old crisco on Minie' balls. Put it on by hand. Fill the grease grooves and the base. I get the best accuracy out of my Zouave with patched round balls and 65 grains of Pyrodex RS. You'll have to play around to find the best patch thickness and lube. I use .010 patches and Rooster lube.
