.31 Revolver

I have was given a reproduction 31 Colt pocket revolver. It has a 6" barrel with a loading lever. It looks like a miniature 1851 Navy 36. The marking on the butt strap is DART Italy. I know it was made in 1976. Does anyone know who made the DART branded guns?
