Mowbray Publishing has just released a new book on THE TEXAS GUN TRADE, 1780 - 1899 by Chris Hirsch. It lists over 1,100 names and information of gunsmiths, gun makers, gun dealers, etc. in Texas before 1900. Hundreds of illustrations of Texas oriented guns are included including many muzzle loading rifles stocked in Texas. Also, pictured are lots of percussion revolvers by Dance, Clark, Sherrard & Co., L. Tucker and the rare Sisterdale revolver. Colt Walkers, patersons, and others included too. Please check out the author's web page to see some of the Texas rifles and revolvers. www.texasguntrade.com
