My arms dealer told me the frame and cylinder are produced by Uberti Hege mount their own match barrel and do the fine tuning.
The rifling the same at the original
easy shoots with 10 shots 92 points. If you are ambitiouis black powder shooter try to buy one.
Do not use to strong loads, powder i use 15 grains swiss black powderCH2 ball.457

: Hege is not selling the remington new army
: revolver at this time. Feinwerkbau sells a
: Rodgers & Spencer that is of about equal
: quality. I have tried the Italian repros
: (own Uberti and Euroarms) and they are not
: in the same league with these fine German
: revolvers by Hege and Feinwerkbau. Use
: Google to find seller of the Feinwerkbau
: Rodgers(Brenzovich Firearms in Texas as I
: recall).

: I will try again.
: Who sells Hege-Arms here in the USA?
: Lee

: Just like you, I am also often surprised to
: discover a manufacturer of firearms that I
: never knew existed.
:
: There are plenty of countries around the
: world with a thriving arms industry, in many
: cases their products are only sold in the
: home country and are near-totally unknown
: outside of it.

: Thanks for the link. I will have to check
: them
: out. Didn't know anyone was making replicas
: except Italians.

: If you don't mind paying for the quality,
: hands-down imho the ultimate must be Hege -
: German made.
:
: I'm told that the cylinders are bored
: through the barrel of each gun, and the
: trigger, out of the box, is incredible.
:
: I own one of these, not bragging or
: anything, but whenever I get a chance to
: compare, there is a clear difference that is
: quite easily visible.
:
: I have shot pretty much any load through
: this gun and it is always considerably more
: accurate than I can ever be.
:
: I am not sure if they are all the same
: quality, mine is stamped "Hege Army
: Match" so it may well be that they have
: lesser models, check their site:
:
: it does suck a bit and it's in German, but
: even so...
:
: Here's the 1858 page, as their site is so
: confusing that I'm not surprised anyone does
: not get to the pages:

: The difference that I see is that Uberti
: pays
: more attention to the small details like the
: finish of the small parts inside and the
: external surface before blueing.
