I hope somebody can help me out. My 54cal would not fire at all this weekend. I haven't shot it in a couple of years but it was cleaned good before putting it away. I shot a couple of caps through it before loading it. The first round went off fine but the second round wouldn't go at all tried several no 11 caps. Removed the ball and cleaned it with hot water and solution. I was thinking it was bad powder put new powder in it and tried a different brand caps the first round agian went off great. the next one had to use several caps finaly went off. Cleaned it and put it away frustrated. I neaver had this problem before. I think it is bad caps. I just used what I had opened before a couple years ago. Any ideas would be great.
