In 1982, I built a muzzle loadeing rifle, and had Bill Large make the barrel, a 42" 45 cal.on the barrel stamped : wm large and the initials JJJJ. I believe that was his 4 sons initials, so Jim or John fit. Bill has since passed away, I don"t know what year,but my guess is in the 80"s.Well that's all I have. Good Luck. ps. very,very good barrel.Bill Large also lived in Ohio when I ordered my barrel.
