I have a .50 cal Pedersoli Tennessee long rifle. It has that 1 in 48" compromise twist and won't shoot round balls or mine balls to my satisfaction. It was close to becoming a lamp when I tried some of Lee's R.E.A.L. bullets. The 250 gr. bullet lubed with liquid Alox and 80 grains of RS shoots a near classic clover leaf at 50 yards. The leaves don't touch but they are close enough for the rifle to get a reprieve.
