How can I find who manufactured the two black powder revolvers that I now own? One (1851 Navy Colt 36 cal.) was a gift. The other (1860 Remmington 44 cal.) came in a trade. Neither one was new nor came with any info. The Remmington is stamped Connecticut Valley Arms. The Colt is stamped Richland Arms Company. I need to know the manufacturer in order to purchase conversion kits for them.
