AP used to be Clean Shot. The powder was available loose or in a round pellet form. They where sued into bankruptcy by Hodgen the maker of Pyrodex Pellets for paten breech. The charcoal ingrediant of the powder is derived from burnt orange peels(a refuse of the juicing process)! This powder is extremely hygroscopic, it absorbs moisture from the air very readily! The only good I have ever heard of this powder was from folks that live in very arid climates, Texas,Arizona,Nevada and that being seasonally at best! My experiance here in the Great Lake region has been,"It makes great lawn fertilizer" It's junk! I've seen new cans opened where you can see one large clump in the middle!
