Nope. the rifleing of the rifle barrel will twist or spin the shot in such a manner to render the shot pattern ineffective, also the loose shot can damage or deform the rifling and lessen the barrels ability to spin a ball or bullet projectile for proper accuracy. What kind of rifle do you have? and welcome to blackpowder shooting it's alot of fun.
