on some of the ruger old army 45's i have used cleaning up some wild towns in need of a gunslinger(re-enactor not a nutcase) i have found that the cci #10 extra hot caps are needed. also are you using a capper like is suggested to make sure you are seating them fully? Also are you giving them the correct amount of powder, is the powder fresh and dry? if you are not giving the correct ammount of powder, or if it is not fres or dry it may not fire like it should. but try switching to cci #10 extra hot caps first.
