I just purchased a Cimarron 1850 Colt Navy. I did a lot of research before I purchased it and came to the conclusion that while the Cimarron is basically a Uberti Cimarron seems to hold Uberti to a bit higher standard than other Uberti distributors in the US. Most people I've talked with say Cimarron's service; for those who have needed it, is very good. That being said I have yet to even fire my colt. I'll break it down and clean it for the first time tonight but so far I'm happy with the quality. I did see a Pietta for the first time up close at a local gun show recently and have to say I really didn't see anything wrong with it but I didn't shoot it or disassemble it obviously.
