Hi i am new to this forum. just got a T/C New Englander in 50Cal. got it cheep found out why. It was suposed to have a light coating of rust in the bore with Great! rifling. well i got the hevy rust down to the rifling to find the bore pitted throughout and on one side it is pitted so bad the rifling is non existant. The gun would be a good hunter i think if not for this.Is it possible to have the gun bored to a larger Cal.? What dos this sort of thing usualy coast? thanks, jim
