Did you get the wedge out?
If so, half cock the hammer, turn the cylinder to where the loading plunger hits between two chambers on the cylinder and use the loading lever to push the barrel off (just like you are loading it). You may need to put a thin piece of wood or plastic between the cylinder and plunger.
