A friend of mine has a K. D. Elite. The thing shoots 1" groups , 100 gr 777, with any bullet you put in it. I bought one and have not as yet shot the gun. My question is that the ram rod is held in place by a small V spring under the front sling screw. The rod seems to rub the underside of the barrel during insertion. The rod is tight but seems that the underside of the barrel is going to be scratched. Any coments? Thanks DL
